Taking advantage of the beautiful fall weather, ROAR hosted its first Cafe ROAR of the year in October, held outdoors on the elementary school plaza.

Parents and caregivers had the opportunity to:

  • Connect with one another over apple cider and iced tea. In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, guests also enjoyed delicious taquitos and pupusas.

  • Celebrate the hard work of the school’s pep squad, who delivered a rousing performance.

  • Engage with the Wellness Team to learn more about the wide range of student support services available.

  • Chat with the Out of School Time (OST) teams from both the elementary and middle schools.

A special thanks to Ms. Ashley and a high school volunteer who brought smiles to many faces through face painting. We also appreciate the support of our high school AP translators, who provided Spanish translation throughout the event to ensure all families could participate.

ROAR is grateful to everyone who was able to attend and make the event such a success. If you weren’t able to join us and have questions for the Wellness or OST teams, please don’t hesitate to reach out—they’re always happy to connect.
