As the temperature drops, ROAR welcomed the season with our annual Winter Clothing and Toy Swap  in early November — a chance for families to clear out closets of outgrown items and for our community to access warm clothing and toys for all ages. Shared with the E.L. Haynes community and our broader neighborhood, this event focused on giving, sustainability, and support during a season when warm gear matters most. Our Fall soccer season came to a roaring end this November — complete with sunny weather, participatory medals, celebratory snacks, and plenty of smiles. Taking advantage of the beautiful fall weather, ROAR hosted its first Cafe ROAR  of the year in October, held outdoors on the elementary school plaza. Parents and caregivers had the opportunity to: Connect  with one another over apple cider and iced tea. In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month , guests also enjoyed delicious taquitos and pupusas.
