Teacher Appreciation Week - May 3-7, 2021

Teacher Appreciation Week is approaching and we want everyone’s participation in celebrating the extraordinary efforts our rockstar teacher teams put forth every day. Will you help thank them by sending them kudos?

Part 1:

Mark your calendars! On Wednesday, May 5th, from 3-6pm, teachers are being invited to visit the school to pick up gift bags being presented by the school. Families are invited to gather in the school parking lot, socially distanced and masked, with signs and cheer as teachers drive through. During outdoor play sessions the weeks of 4/19 and 4/26, ROAR will have a crafting table set up for families to sign a school-wide banner and make cards for individual teachers to be included in the gift bags. Please be on the lookout for us and stop by with your child(ren) to participate in this fun event!

Part 2:

ROAR is creating thank you cards for teachers in each grade and the specials team using a platform called KudoBoard. All you need to do is submit a message, a gif, an image, and/or a video that represents your child’s gratitude for their teachers, a special moment, or shows what they have enjoyed the most this school year. Please feel free to add your voice, too!

You can submit your submission in one of two ways:

1. Upload your submission

* Note: when submitting your message, it asks for your email address but that feature is entirely optional. You do need to enter your name as a signature.

2. Email them to Ali Cavanagh at asrayx@gmail.com and she will upload them for you.

Please upload or send your submission by Wednesday, May 5th. We will deliver the message on Friday, May 7th.
